on the road: the Neon Museum

Every time I go home, my mother and I try to do one new thing.  I've been drying to go to the Neon Museum Boneyard for years, but you always have to schedule a tour and spots are limited daily.  We finally got our act together last time and went.  Las Vegas is slowly collecting and refurbishing old signs and pieces of old Las Vegas to put up on downtown Las Vegas (read: Fremont St.).  They're also building a real museum, but I wanted to see the signs in the boneyard before it was too late.  I highly recommend you go the next time you're in Vegas.  Very cool and an awesome history lesson on Vegas from great tour guides.

  1. "Please brighten up this waiting room," says my busy boss, one morning "Put some art on the wall." Admittedly, the room is on the drab side but as a car spare part supply office, I thought that not many of the clients coming through notice much of it.
From wahooart.com, I ordered online canvas prints about car art, of course, like this one http://en.wahooart.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-5ZKEMR by Salvador Dali.

  2. What was surprising was the excellent condition of these tool kits and the fact that they were in situ when discovered and hardly damaged, he says. Some products such as pigments do have a number, but they discount mac cosmetics also have cheap mac makeup a specific name and all genuine MAC discount mac makeup resellers would know to only ever use the product name when advertising..
