Happy Valentine's Day, friends!  It doesn't matter which team you're playing for this year - what's wrong with a holiday completely devoted to love?  I'm in love with so many people, places and things. 

I had a Valentine's Day party on Friday and made people write down something they love on an instant picture I took of them and everyone taped them on some hanging ribbon.  The answers were awesome.  Here's a few:

For you longtime readers, you might remember my book club's road trip to Sharon Springs to see first hand everything we read about in The Bucolic Plague (and the delight that is Josh & Brent I had seen on Planet Green's The Fabulous Beekman Boys).

I saw that their shop Beekman 1802 had lovely and thoughtful heirloom gifts for Valentine's Day.  Just perfect.

Just discovered Stripe and Field while reading the latest issue of Matchbook Magazine and saw a paperweight I fell in love with (yes, it IS possible to fall in love with a paperweight!).  Paper goods and paper weights, they've got great taste and style.
